About Us

The String Theory Philosophy

At String Theory School, we believe that high-quality music education only happens when the instructor is respected, supported, and given the right tools. We are rapidly growing our student body online, and that success is entirely due to one principle: We built this school for the instructor first, because we know the best teachers produce the best students.

Unlike traditional schools, String Theory is streamlined through the power of collective resources. We handle the policy, infrastructure, marketing, and a refined vetting process, giving the instructor the freedom to focus entirely on teaching.

We also take pride in our open-access curriculum. Developed over 25 years of professional instruction, this structured repository represents a definitive approach to mastering the instrument—entirely free and accessible to all. (UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

From the Founder

After 25 years of teaching professionally in the St. Louis area, including running a physical brick-and-mortar guitar school, I made the decision to move String Theory virtual. Transitioning from a physical location revealed a new goal: creating an online ecosystem where guitar instructors can actually thrive without the burden of a physical studio. Now the focus is exponential growth.

We’ve now taught cumulatively thousands of hours, helping players from absolute beginners to professional musicians. We are looking for advanced instructors—experts in interval relationships, modal systems, and professional performance—to join our roster!
